Football Trading Selections February 12th

There’s some decent football matches on tonight and a few have caught my eye for potential trades. As you’ll note I have not included anything on either Champions League game and the reason for that is I prefer to watch how the games are performing in play before taking any action. Should I spot anything I will post on my Twitter page.

Europa League

Fenerbahce v Zenit St. Petersburg

I am going with the Over 1.5 Market and will drip my stake to back the overs from odds of 1.6 up to 2.5. If a goal is scored at anytime I will trade out.

Championship

Birmingham v Bolton

Can’t see Bolton winning here, their away form is very poor and I am leaning to laying them BUT only if they happen to take the lead at any stage during the game up to and including the 70th minute. My other play in this game will be a correct score lay in the second half from the 60 minute onwards.

Hull v Rotherham

I have three potential trades here. Firstly, Hull’s recent home record in the Championship is very strong and this will make me look to lay Rotherham but only if they take the lead (same criteria as Bolton above). The first 20-25 minutes play will determine my other two trades which are backing Hull and laying the Under 0.5 Goals in the Half Time market. To enter either or both I will be looking for plenty of dominance from Hull or goal mouth action at either end.

Bristol v QPR

This is an away lay for me and same criteria as already listed above.

West Brom v Nottm Forest

Over 1.5 Goals would be my main play here but the current odds to back at 1.28 are far too low. What I will wait for is how the first 20-25 minutes performs and either back the overs at a higher price and drip my stake like in the Fenerbahce game or lay Under 0.5 Goals in the Half Time market. The latter may just present a better opportunity.
