Sunday Review & Aug 31st Selections

A decent return overall from yesterday’s selections. The day started off with a bet on Ventforet Kofu who unfortunately could not get a lead to provide a trade and ultimately lost the game 0-1. Next up was the game in China and a straight Both Teams To Score at odds of 2.04 paid out on the 42nd minute. Another home bet trade went down as Lille took an away win 0-1 to Reims. The other game in China certainly produced Over 2.5 Goals but it all happened too quickly for me as the odds were too low. Following that I had a nice few results with a full return on my lay of Djurgardens followed by another away lay on Sogndal at 1.68 in which I traded out with 75% profit at odds of 6.2. In Russia the Both Teams To Score bet at 2.44 on Rubiz Kazan v Tambov was complete just on half time and that game went on to finish 2-2. The final away lay of the day was also a success and I ended up with 100% return on this also. Two Over 2.5 Goal trades both had contrasting results with Hibernian v Aberdeen finishing 0-1 while Odds v Mjondalen was 2-1 after just 14 minutes which inevitably ended up as a full profit given the goals were scored so early. Unfortunately that rich run of results came to a stop in the final two selections as both were BTTS and each produced plenty of goals but none from the opposition! I also Tweeted one in play lay of 0-1 in Akhmat Grozny v CSKA at odds of 1.5 which was a success. A good day of outright bets and just the one trade.

Today I have six games identified and I would expect these (with the exception of BTTS) to provide more trading opportunities than yesterday. As I mentioned before we all trade differently and I pick my moments to exit a market on what I see happening within the game. For example lets say I have an open lay on a team and the game is 0-0 mid way through the second half. At this stage I can exit with maybe 50% profit or lay off my stake and have a free bet on a draw or opposition win, it varies game by game. I often think at times in some trades where there’s an opportunity to exit with profit that if I was walking down the street and saw a bunch of notes on the ground would I walk past them thinking I’ll surely find more than that further on! We certainly know the answer to that!!

That’s all for now. If I see any in play opportunities throughout the evening I shall post them on my Twitter page here.
